General Information:
The Handy Husband is mainly classified as a handyman business, but it is much more than that… We specialise in minor vehicle services, fixing common vehicle issues, general handyman services & creating solutions for common household issues.
My History:
Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my father who always used to do projects around the house. He is also an electrician by trade and worked for Eskom for 20 years. He’s been my mentor all my life and I’ve gotten a lot of my technical and electrical capabilities from him.
My grandfather did woodworking and construction for most of his life and I’ve learned a lot from him over the years as well.
Parts of my family have also worked in the automotive industry, and I have personally worked in the automotive sector for the last 11 years.
So, collectively, I come from a family of tradesmen that have worked in the electrical, woodworking and automotive sectors.
For most of my life, I have loved helping other people fix things, install things or make changes to things. I live by “work smarter, not harder” and I will always try and make something as easy and functional as possible. Life is hard enough. If I can find innovative ways to make something work better, quicker or easier, I’m going to go for it.
I’m so passionate about fixing things or making things function better, that I have decided to make a living out of it and help other people who don’t have the time, knowledge or tools to do what I can do.
I mainly service the Pretoria area, but I’m willing to travel outside of Pretoria if the project is big enough.
Service Area:
My current service area will be the Moot area, as well as Pretoria East, with exceptions to certain areas unsafe to travel in.
