FAQs

What is your service area?

My current service areas are the Moot area, as well as Pretoria East, with exceptions to certain areas unsafe to travel in.

Do you assess what the project is before taking it on? If so, how does it work?

Yes, I decide whether it is in my capabilities before accepting projects, obviously, I will try to push my boundaries where applicable.

How much do you charge for your services?

Services will be project-based, and pricing will be based on hours worked, location, project size, or project complexity (or any combination of the above).

Do you charge for quotes?

The first quotation will be done for free. Any recurring quotations after that will be charged at a 20% fee of the original quote.

Please note: If a quote for work is provided and not accepted, a fee of R350 will apply. If the quote is accepted, the R350 fee will not be applicable.

How does payment work?

EFT, Cash or payment via my Card Machine.

Are you a qualified electrician?

Yes, I am a qualified, Red Seal Electrician.

Can you build custom items, deliver and install them?

I can complete custom orders, depending on complexity (so an assessment will be needed before the project is accepted) and I will install where I can. Delivery shouldn’t be a problem as I have a pick-up, but it is again dependent on the size and complexity of the project.

What are your business hours?

Mon-Fri > 08:00 – 17:00
Saturdays > 09:00 – 15:00
Sundays > Closed

What is your service process?

– Once I receive a quote request, I will get in touch with you to discuss the scope of work and if I’m able to take on the project.
– If more information is needed, I will visit your premises and assess the possibilities.
– Should I take on the project, I will provide you with a formal quote with a validity of 15 days.
– If the quote is accepted, a 50% deposit will need to be paid on the day that the quote has been accepted and signed.
– The quote shall also have the expected time frame of the completion of said project/task and any delays will be communicated ahead of time, in writing, should they occur.
– Once the project is completed/delivered, the final 50% payment will be due and the project will be signed off.

What is your cancellation policy?

– If the project has been started or materials have already been bought, the 50% deposit paid upfront is not refundable. Details can be provided on materials bought and work started.
– If the project has not been started and materials have not yet been bought, a 10% handling fee will be applicable. Thus, 40% of the deposit will be returned.
